According to the title, this 1000+ HP Audi S4 blow past traffic on public roads at 224 mph. Video quality is not very good and there's no direct shots of the speedo, but it sure does seem to be gettin along, with 3 occupants no less.
Please don't do this if you're not on a track. You'd think if you could afford the massive amount of modification, that you'd be able to make it to the drag strip to perform these kind of antics.

That is scary and stupid.

That tire noise...I bet they weren't designed to get at these speeds.

Serious question, at those speeds is that hand position proper or what? I never hold my steering wheel like that but then again I've never went faster than 113 MPH and that was for maybe 3 seconds.

I think the "Death Grip" would be the proper hand position for driving like this.

Speedo wouldn't read 225 ever anyway, that's only because it stops at 170. They did get a shot and it looks maxed with the revs climbing. Stupid place to do that speed yes, but the car is ridiculously fast

224kph I could believe. 224mph I don't.
If the place does use MPH, then if the speed limit is supposed to be 65 (or even 75), then his roughly 140 is still nearly double, which would account for him reaching the speed quickly, but having to shift in order to keep it calm. At 200+, that guy in plain clothes with three people in the car would be dead from slamming into another car because they'd have zero reaction time for anything.
GPS Speedo readout, or bullshit.

Yea no way it is doing 224mph. My friend has a 02 A4 with the 5 speed manual and he's at like 3500 rpm at 80 mph. So the S4 would have a 6 speed so maybe he would be at 2800 rpm at 80 mph but he would run out of gearing in a hurry....regardless of horsepower. Unless he did some serious custom transmission work.

A taller 6th gear is a pretty common mod on these transmissions. You can swap in a .56 which would give you 226mph at 7000 rpm.
